Your approach to social media and why people should (or shouldn’t) use it, is realistic and I appreciate that! It’s not for everyone and it’s important to get right. you gave a down to earth, friendly perspective and it’s good to hear that we have the same hymn sheet in our hands!

I work in B2B marketing and am aware of lots of B2B companies being uncertain how they can use social media effectively. Some examples of B2B use would have been helpful.

For me social media is a fascinating subject and exciting to be learning about something that is still in its infancy. Warren’s presentation had loads of great examples and was very entertaining too. I want get a good grasp on how to use social media effectively and Warren’s presentation showed me the building blocks to do this.

I know that you had had to step in at short notice that night, with some of the audience having attended specifically to listen to the listed speaker. However, you engaged the audience immediately and gave us all some really down to earth and common sense advice on social media. Your presentation was engaging, funny and really informative and the exercise/game at the end reinforced what you had said and aided the learning.

I was actually quite relieved that you were unable to use the projector due to a technical hitch. Powerpoint and the like is used all too frequently these days when I feel that there is a better connection with the audience when you are talking to them from your own experiences and knowledge rather than using technology as a crutch. Your talk was succinct, covered the main points and your amusing anecdotes kept my attention from waning. I only wish that there had been time for you to go into greater detail.

How can Warren Cass improve?
Having a hand-out with some of the importanta info/tools that you mentioned would be helpful.eg the meaning of F.I.L.M and hache tags/bit by etc useful snippets, so that your audience could concentrate on what you were saying rather than taking notes. Oh, and forget the projector every time – you were great without it!
